We once regarded cats as Gods. They have not forgotten this ancient fact, proceed with caution non-believers..

As my Vietnamese work colleague always used to tell me, he could cook it so I'd never know

Scroll through this thread I started a while back cauncy (probably after a few bottles of chuckle medicine). I'm sure you'll identify a few Moggie lovers in there.

Cats will kill all the animals and birds, plastic will kill all marine life ... I'd suggest avoid making plastic cats

I'm at a total loss to any logical reasoning behind the benefits behind having a cat. It seems as though it boils down to "I like cats and I want one". The reasoning starts and stops there.

I can kinda see where you're coming from, but then people keep goldfish. At least you can interact with a cat.

I had a shed full of rats at one stage, got a cat and it sorted them out, all gone. Other than that I can't think of a benefit

Cats are for lazy pet owners. Get a cat and let it roam around the neighborhood, piss on your furniture, poo through the garden and destroy native wildlife.
Then they put posts up saying their cat is missing and hasn't come home. If you love your cats so much keep it locked up in your yard .

I've caught a dozen rats in the last month with traps. Neighbours cat is always in our yard....the useless piece of pretentious fluff.

Maybe your neighbour thinks the same about you ?

Good , mate in our region shoots the f####s
Takes data, opens them up, lays contents of guts and does a count, would you believe me if I told you a good sizes specimen had over 100 native animals in its gut, from birds to skinks, waiting for permission to show examples,
What's the point of owning one, I've never seen the point

Goldfish don't eat native wildlife.
