Hey Jord,

I caught a show by that lot about 3 years ago, and bloody hell I'm still talking about it, you're right, the strength and stuff that they have is incredible... did you know that they have a teacher that travels with them? is a whold nother life in there.... they have classes to attend and all that kinda stuff... Imagine the training they go through! I hurt just thinking about it!

Purchased the tickets over a year ago, saw them 2 weekends ago.

Will not hesitate in spending the brass to see them again, absolutely brilliant show.

I saw Alegria twice when it was in town, that's how much I enjoyed it!

I went to Varekai a few weeks ago too. Such a great show!

(all though I have to admit Alegria is still all-time for me - it's the music)

For those who are interested, poke 'Alegria', 'Quidam' or 'Varekai' or 'Cirque De Soleil' into YouTube...

do you surf greeny, because malus island has a pretty small, but very neet break, i dont think you could sail there, but you have a sand bar you walk out on than paddle across and get some nice chest high waves, but angels is really nice, i recon when i go back to visit, ill try get my mates date to take me out there, he owns a 60 footer, rig up on the way there

Sorry for the thread high jack but a few of our guys are planning a rece trip to Angle as a wave sailing destination in the next couple of weeks.
Would be cross shore to cross on in a south westerly which will start kicking in very shortly.
We have access to a speed boat that can do 50 knots (yes 50) which means the trip over in flat water takes no time at all... problem being when the wind is on its very choppy so it's not the perfect nautical vehicle.

A permanent mooring has been placed just off the island

Thought about sailing across from the Burup to Angel but a couple of the locals convinced me against it... super strong tide and you have to sail across shark alley !

I'll post a picture of Angel which will give you some idea of the potential. It's been surfed heaps by our north west contingent but as yet remains unsailed !

PS - we think we know your work mate who was out on Monday... as the speed boat crew headed there as well !

Cool sweet count me in! Let me know when you are going to sail it! Ive been hanging for the SW winds to come in The other week I sailed out the back of Sams to have a squiz.
The more people I speak to at work the more I find out surf! AND have access to boats
On the main road in Karratha I counted 67 boats in poeples driveways
Let me know WindWarrior and I will get a day off... SICKIE TIME!!!
