Thanks for all the interest in the political party. If people want any info on the Daylight Saving Party that was lodged with the electoral commission on 20/12/4 after huge public support they can go to our website at
www.daylightsavingparty.org.au.

Now we just have to win some seats at the election.
Cheers,
Tom Cunneen party Pres.

have a look in the weekends West Australian - there were 2 women starting the same thing. I think their e-mail was [email protected] or something

I'll vote for it.

Don't you know you are playing with fire. We have had 2 referenda on this in WA, and both times the cows and the curtains won
Did you know that daylight savings makes the curtains fade more It's the extra sunlight you get from the earth stopping spinning for an hour when you start daylight savings.
Also the cows don't know what time to go to the dairy to get milked!
I reckon who ever taught cow's to read the time should be shot
Hey, there are many more of these excuses out there, may as well share them here.

After living in Tassie and the UK, daylight savings is a great thing, I'll be in on anything to promote it. The extra sailing time after work is great.

Could we get some more hours put into the day instead? Or do less work?

Here's a vision for the future should the party get in.

Most of the party members are from the wind using community.

"Holy Sh!t Tom! We've gotta be in bloody parliment in 15 minutes for that meeting thing.

6 windsurfers scuttle in to parliment house 10 minutes late, dripping wet with rashies and boardies on. Cleaner goes mental at the bloody beach sand everywhere.

"here, here!"

Where do I sign ?

"It's only early...."

we don't have daylight savings here in QLD but being an ex vic, i really miss it. However, it is daylight at 4.30 in the morning this time of year in QLD, I couldn't image it being daylight at 3.30. Still, I'm all for it.

I'd be keen to vote for you blokes. My only concern is that if you don't win the majority of the vote (occassionally such injustices can occur) then we could get stuck with another few years of Gallop and Ripper. If you guarantee to put Labour last in all your preferences then you've got me.

What time can you usually sail or surf to in summer and winter around Perth ?

Do many many get out after work mid week in Perth ?

Thats an excellent time for surfing. Hows about the windy community. How late can you kite or windsurf to in summer and winter.

Let's spread the word that, if the Gallop goverment does'nt give us a referendum on daylight saving we should all vote for the libs instead. That will be how I decide who I vote for in the upcoming state election.

I have been in Australia for 12 years now and still have'nt been given the opportunity to voice my opinion in this regard due to the fact that I was'nt elegible for naturalization when the last reffendum took place, that's far too long to wait ! Yeah sure they'll give us the refferendum on extended shopping, but what about D L S !!

No DLS reffendum = vote Gallop out !!!!!!!!!!!!1
