Surf skills 101......Id rather surf sucky hollow waves on my forehand. however when its wally and sectiony i have more fun on my backhand.. IE favourite wave is north point.. but if im surfing a crumbly beachy a frame i will choose to go left.
Why is this? whats the preffered stance forehand or backhand. I surf better on my forehand but often choose to go to places with predominatley more lefts. (there is more lefts im in WA) I know most crew would rather surf forehand...when I look at occys turns on his backhand it blows most guys forehand turns away (i know he is the exception rather than the rule.) I dont really know what im asking more requesting opinions or philosophy on this one.
