Without giving away details that will result in your car being knocked off, what does everyone do with their keys while out on the water.

I used to string mine around my neck, but the new ones with buttons and batteries etc dont like the water .

of course,

bloody hell, you think of the most complicated scenarios, and the bleeding obvious is staring you in the face.

Thanks Hardie.

yo stilts,

i used to do as the hard, but i'm always thinkin that if some f#&*in low down good for nothing junkie decides to cosh a window and break in anyway, what happens if they find your keys - as well as scoring some wheels they can flog all your spare gear as well - WORST NIGHTMARE EVER

If i'm sailing in a dodgy area , i use a waterproof surf walet ($15) most surf shops sells em, you can also tie them round your neck and they don't let a drop of h20 in.

or you could go the combi pad lock with space for a key on to your toeing ring, (hmmm is that a word, sounds a bit porno!), but there a bit exy.

I do the same, and keep a key without the remote in my wetsuit or harness, together with a key to the krook-lock steering lock, and a key to the padlock that keeps the boot or tailgate closed.

Even if they get in the car and get the keys, they still have to remove the steering lock, although the strength of these is debatable!

On the other hand if I lose the keys that I'm carrying, I'm stuffed :)

Dale.

I have a little hook on my key ring so my car key can easily be taken off my house keys. Then i have rope on my car key so i can put it around my neck.
I did a nice decorative knot so the key doesnt hit my chest all the time.

Rellie, Unfortunately since I started reading the forums and developing an understanding of yours and hardmans relationship, my arse has been permanently clenched.
So storing them up there isnt an option.

I am also a bit worried about silvec01, those decorative knots are usually learned at boy scouts, and you know the influence those scout masters have over their troops

go to the dealer and get one cut that just opens the boot or door (no electric gizmo's on it)... then hide your electornic key somewhere in the car ? and take the normal key out with you...

regards browneee

p.s I've seen PR in a wetty, we could all store our keys in his ass

sheesh, one crack about decorative knots

I'm practising the clenching in case I ever need a third hand to hold something while I'm busy

Grumps,

as with Reli, I'd be very gentle with you Clenching only causes pain relax and go with it, you might enjoy it as Reli eventually did

Hardie,
Thats an offer thats almost too good to refuse

but being the good looking, snag that I am I wouldn't want to upset Rellie by taking good side of the bed away from him.

Grumps

Yes the curse of good looks, know it only too well

InFidelity has always been an issue with me, I'm glad you have the moral fortitude to resist the carnal temptations that are on offer in this depraved universe that we cohabitate on......, and Geez I hope Reli doesn't read any o this

Brownee, you can look by all means but if you want to touch it will incur a fee and a flogging from hardie.

I got a special combination padlock which you attach to anything unremovable from your car, like your roo bar. Then the combination undoes a section which you can put your keys in. Hard to explain. looks like an ultra big padlock and it fits my alarm key fob and other key in it. Can probably get them from bunnings
