I have spent 2 hours googling for this, maybe it doesn't exist.

Wanted 1 solid ball/sphere made from plastic/resin about 150mm diameter that I can put screw inserts into.
Any ideas what Iam looking for
does the damn thing exist.

I am attending several animal expos over the next few months. I have banner flag things but as I will be fling dont want to be carrying large metal plates with me.

Kids bowling ball? Don't know if I'd want to lug one of those around an airport though.

Try your local 2 buck shop. They may have one of those outdoor bowling sets. The ball sounds just about right.

You don't want to carry metal plates but a heavy-as solid ball is OK?

I would get the base of a beach umbrella that screws into the ground. Like literally, it is a screw about 50mm dia and 500mm long. Weighs next to nothing easy to transport and your flag won't blow over.

We have banners outside my office. The base 'plate' is a plastic cavity that we fill with water, up to 15 litres so can handle a breeze. To move them any distance empty them, they are then less than 2 kg to carry.

^^^ they came with the banners, so any print type company (eg SNAP) that do banners should be able to supply....
