Hey guys, would appreciate you opinion/suggestions..

I'm in the early stages of building surfspot database website.
I'm using google maps to draw the area and am pegging the spots on top of that.. so it'll be open for global use, ultimately I plan to oust wannasurf from the top spot ;)

check it out. let add suggestions to the forum, let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Tim

I've only added a few spots at the moment, feel free to add some.

Hi Tim, great beginning. I tried to add a spot, but kept crashing the map. I'm using Opera as browser, would that be a prob?, shouldn't be as I view maps often.

Tried to open with Win. Expl., but that wouldn't load.

You also have a competitor at http://www.surfmap.net/, but who can beat Google...eh.

Nick

Here's a thought. How about you DON'T add any links to ya favourite surf spot!!! sheesh isnt it getting crowded enough without advertising it all over the net. Secret or not so secret, keep it to yerself, let the others use some nous and a bit of spirit of adventure to hunt and seek.
