where in WA is a excellent place to windsurf that also has a reasonable population so that there may be some IT jobs available>.?

You may be better asking, where in WA can I get an IT job? then see if there's any windsurfing around!
Perth's obviously the best bet, plenty of windsurfing, but depends what you mean by "excellent", the 3 best down the the line wave riding spots go from very isolated (gnaraloo about 12 hrs) to small towns (Margarets about 3 hrs and Esperance about 7 hrs). Geraldton would be worth enquiring about, it's got some great spots, and lots and lots of wind!!! It's not huge, at a guess about the size of Bunderberg.
