I just wanted to make the point that it is now generally agreed that mankinds burning of fossil fuels and deforestation have altered Earth's climate.
This thread was sounding like the jury was still out on that decision.
Only a few whackos and conservative US "think tank" propaganda groups are still denying that climate change is real, and even their arguments are changing to "OK, it might be real, but the weather will be warmer, and plants will have more CO2".
The debate now is more to do with what to expect from an altered climate, and what can be done about it.
I think a lot of folks just don't like to accept that the smelly bearded sandal wearing hippies might have been right all along.
No kiting here either this time of year, but plenty of pointy things.
