Has anyone had the problem on the 04 Slingshot Fuel kites with the strut seam splitting? It seems to have split on the stitching where I fold the kite in half. This has happened on my 13m kites. Which I do not care because I have taken it to hell and back. But I noticed it has started to happen on my 9m kite, which I have not used much
yeah i've seen it happen before but not to me. I always try to keep the struts inflated with a little bit of air (not fully inflated) & i never fold the kite in half (just role it up) So hopefully i'll never have that problem on the struts. I've also seen the LE start to come apart where the stitching is. But thats easy to fix because the stiching is on the outside, unlike the struts
Love your style. Some of the most expensive kites available on the market. Only last year's model. Breaking, but don't care, taken it to hell and back.
contact slingshot australia and let them know they might be able to help out. but wot are u doing folding it in half. of corse you kite has got to give if it is pumped up and u fold it in half. any kite would do that.
