For you guys that are climbing the walls, injured, had enough of the misuss & need some kind of kite fix take a look at 'Revolution Kites'. I guarantee these kites are extremely challenging , very addictive & a lot of fun. As long as you haven't broken your wrists, it gets you out of the house to the beach or local park from very low winds up to 15 Knts. Also have a zero wind kite, which can be flown indoors if its pissing down & you have a basket ball court for a lounge room.

2 non seasons + a shop keeping me off the water even when it was on.
Then a great season (well not great but pretty damn good) and Im off with a stuffed hip for the whole of it .... I reckon I get 1st dibs at complaining.
But final treatment seems to be working so its game on for me from next week on.
Yeeeow

I'm in a good location and there has been wind (though this is the worst time of the year). Life has rudely gotten in the way lately!. work trips, kids birthdays.... that sort of thing.

Few observations on the addiction below.

The missus avoids me after only a week of no wind. Winter time tends to offer durations of up to 5 weeks of a nag free home.

When u havnt had a sesh in ages, rock up to the local with day light dwindling and someone always wants a land or launch as u run lines out.

Tourists or bystands like to watch u wanting to launch - from a downwind position, and again in dwindling daylight when ur itching for a punt.

Non kiters think that in a bee's fart wind must mean its on.

No anger issues here - just havnt kited in a few days

FIFO is so bad for kitting. I'll happily take an 80 grand pay cut.
