just checking some of the 2007 gear and noticed there doesnt seem to be a single 'c' kite anywhere. have all of the brands gone to these new hybrids and thrown the 'c' away completely? dunno if this is a good thing or not but either way the prices seem to have dropped thoughts?

theres a very good reason why most of the top brands have introduced hybrid kites for 2007. mainly its the depower safety thing of bow kites with the performance of a traditional C kite.

in my humble opinion, most of the new hybrid kites are awesome. i,m a slingshot monkey my self. But Best, North, Naish, + a few other manufacturers have some extreemly good kites.

And remember you get what you pay for!!!!

all i can say is try some of them out, and conclude youre own opinion.

Good Luck!!! and most importantly Enjoy!!!!! its more about having fun than being abel to afford the latest technology.

Best will be bringing out the Yarga "C" this year still. Price point kite at around the $1400 mark. There is still a market for these kites but seriously depreciated from last year.

1400$ fark.

for $200 more u get a quality kite, one pump, sh^tload better bar, sh^tload better bag, performance that will destroy the yarga, eww a safety leash!, a good pump with pressure gauge,

ohh and resale value.

good luck.

All the kites are heading to a dominant design.....which one will emerge? WGAFF.... hopefully we get to the point where all kites, bars, lines and saftey systems are interchangeable....that will help.

Its all about the weather anyway...........it's wind we need not kites.

You can now get a good safe kite for peanuts and you can go big with all new stuff...a better market for all. More choice and safety....yay. The market will grow but only the stong will survive. To bow or not to bow, that is the question for now. And that brings us back to topic of sorts.

The 07 gear looks great! What fantastic improvements in a short period. We are half way through this miserable windless winter....surf has been great though. Ship that new gear and let us get the season rolling. Give me wind, sunshine, a swell, flat water and time. In a month I'll have new kites and wind guaranteed

Hi guys and girls,

I found this article on another forum and thought it might be interesting reading for some who are interested in new Airush gear.

kiteboarder.co.uk/kitesurfing/2007-airush-the-new-flow-sle-hybrid-bow-12512

Airush this year are bringing out the Reactor and Lift in "C" and DNA and Flow in Hybrid and Halo as pure "bow".

Good winds,
