Hi To everyone.
Cabrinha are sponsoring the 2009 kitesurfing event at Robe South Australia on 21/10 to 25/10.
Does anyone know what the predomanant wind and conditions will be like there in spring?
Whats the conditions?
What tack and swell & surf line ups could be expected?
How many white pointer will need to be dodged?
regards glenn

Best time for Robe is January onwards but if it happens you'll be looking at SE anywhere from 13 knots to 30 knots in the space of a few hours (best to have all kites pumped up ready to go. Wind direction to waves (depending where along the beach they hold the comp) is cross off down the line.
To be honest Robe is one of the best wave kites in SA during the summer.
With regards to the big fish..... I've been there 6 times in 3 years and never seen one!
The one thing I notice is that the water is always colder down there.
Hope this helps
