I think the kite is great and i like the bar and lines with everything below the bar. However I am having trouble with the trim staying locked in the cam cleat. Sometimes i find it quite difficult to adjust. It has also let go a couple of times and can get jammed in the safety release (butterbox) This can be fun in 35 knots as it powers up at some inconvenient moments. The trim rope is in good condition, it has happened on both my 12 and 8m kites.

It could be user error - any advice?

Can the bar be modified to a different system?

Should I just get a new bar with different trim system. I found my old waroo above bar depower was much more reliable. What is your favorite bar setup? (I don't mean one with a couple of skimpies )
