Hi from windy Wellington, this place sure has lived up to its name, Yesterday @ Lake Ferry inside the sand bar I kited on my 9 fuel in the strongest wind i have ever kited in .. The spot is an inland lake with a huge sand bar between the lake and the sea ( also had huge swell but was not up for that
) 40,50 kn most of the day .
the inside of the sand bar is like glass and the set up is just like woodies, but waist deep water everywhere

Super jumping session!!! These were some of the biggest jumps ive done and off flat water too. I could only last about 20 min before i had to come in tired,and s**tting myself as the wind was picking up!
Next week South Island and snow kiting.
