i've gotta wait till sept 30th to get new membership, as I need it for Coolum off the lip downwinder race, which is a week or two after that. hope its not full by the time i can enter!
AKSA is alive and kicking (there is lots of kicking these days). The website www.aksa.com.au is still getting updated, but most the interaction that local kiters have with AKSA will be via their State Association, as they are the local presence.
So check out http://aksa.com.au/state_associations_and_regional_clubs.php for your state association, they would love to get your help with safety and building the community.
ADEN I suggest you contact your state about membership, NSWKBA is letting people join now (although the insurance cover only starts Oct 1) then you can let the Coolum organisers know you will be a member and you can enter the comp.
