Still looking for that spot close to perth with a bit of swell comming through, anyone sailed around the Alkimos and still alive to let us know?
Apparently the wreck is haunted?????
Anyone ready for an expedition?

Its haunted! Its haunted!!!!!!!![}:)] Every time we have gone surfing there something really wrong will happen! Snapped boards, drifting boats, boats that dont start, paddling in mysterious currents of DEATH, oh and we cant forget to mention that mysterious green fog. And there is more that has gone wrong. But hey, what the hell we wouldnt mind giving it another crack. Might need a rescue dingy........that actually starts.

How about Eglington Rocks to the south? Looks flat inside.

Rez is right , the place is murphys home .
The reef has claimed a number of fins and leg ropes while surfing , it is sharp as hell .
There are also heaps of seals that love to scare **** out of you by popping up in front of you and barking at you . I suppose that is why there are so many sharks there too

Your kidding!
You stayed on the wreck ...overnight?
maybe, if I got there pissed and had plenty to keep me going through the night, or was it because a pack of sharks was waiting for you, and you couldnt get back to shore

The actual reef you surf is a long way off the coast (1.5-2 kms)I have surfed it heaps but would think it a pretty SERIOUS kite where you would want a boat for retrievals. the wreck is just about non existant the last time i was there (12 months ago) it was almost completely rusted out. Ghosts never saw any of those Sharks yes seen a few I think the shallow inside reef is the worry with 6 inch barnacles to grate yourself on. IMO Stick to the surf board here
