Hi seabreezers this question is quite specific so Im hoping someone can answer it. I'm tossing up moving from razors to fuels so looking for someone who has flown both and can give a comparison between the two, btw I'm not interested in other c kites. I've heard the fuel is better for boosting and pulls harder when kitelooping (razor still pulls pretty hard though) however it is not as user friendly is this true? Which kite slacks better and which is more stable when unhooking? Which kite offers the most progression in freestyle? Also which has a better unhooking range? Is the fuel easy to hold down and scrub off power when overpowered? Does the fuel hold its shape in high winds with only 4 lines, does it relaunch alright in light winds? Does the fuel have a similar feel to the razor (direct, responsiveness, bar pressure ect).

Personal preference will prevail. Just arrange a demo on each and decide from there. I have tried the Razor and I think it one of the best c kites out there. Have not ridden the Fuel in a few years so I can't comment.

Ive tried both, but stuck with the razors over preference.
Why are you looking to move from razors?

Its time to update the quiver and a few things about the fuel appeal to me that other c kites dont do as well and also i can get fuels alot cheaper. I still think that the razors are a sweet kite and are pretty hard to beat thats why im trying to find out the difference. What made you choose the razor over the fuel?

If you can get fuels a lot cheaper you probably have a contact. So why not just borrow a fuel off said contact and all those questions you have, you can answer yourself.. You already fly razors, all you need to do is demo a fuel to compare. Pretty straight forward.. Where do you ride?

Fuel has more bar pressure and is a handful when overpowered. I'd say the Razor is more refined and better behaving in most situations and more direct, so it is more fun when also used outside pure wakestyle imo. Fuel is raw untamed power but will sit nicely and not move unintended when unhooked. Below the bar trim is not everyone's cup of tea. Definitely fly them, they are both very different. I like 4 line simplicity and the SS swivel works well. But 5 lines come with advantages also.

Loop a 9m in 30 and you will feel untamed power!

Snapped my twin tip this season.... Better than my knees.
