I'm moving from the US to American Samoa. I can't find any online resources that can tell me what the kiteboarding conditions are. Does anyone know of any or can anyone tell me what it's like and what size kit(s) I'd need?

Thanks!

I looked into it when I was going for a surfing Holiday.
They get the SE trade winds typical of all those islands up there. I don't think you will need much smaller than a 12, so take big kites.
If you don't surf already, sell your small kite and by a surfboard (or two). After you check out the reef breaks around Samoa, kitesurfing will be the last thing on your mind!

HA HA HA, I think the recommendation to sell your small kites relates to average size of the Samoans. I suspect your healthy local goes out in 25 kn with a 20 M BOW. Enjoy, A. Samoa is one of the better spots in the world.

Perhaps you'd let us all know what you are going there to do...?? Any vacancies??
Thought of going there myself a few years ago.
