Hey folks!
I'm pretty keen to learn to paraglide. I'd love to be able to climb a mountain and fly back down. Seems like it's pretty common for kiters to glide on the OS forums, wondering if any of you lot are into it? Any advice re lessons, license course etc? Maybe you used to paraglide but lost interest since you started kiting?

My mate dangerous dave does a thing called a parra glide b4 we go kiting he downs a sixer of bundy then tries to nose slide cars parked in the car park i guess he could teach you ?

I've already got some huge foil kites that probably work fine as paragliders anyway, you reckon I should skull 6 bundys and try para(lytic) kiting? Seem to remember you were a pioneer of the sport...
Sounds like a good way to end up a para(plegic).
I prefer the blow up doll smiley

Tobes, I used to both hang glide and paraglide but gave it up because it was much easier for me to go for a kite at the local beach.

I do miss my flying though. Armin from FlySurfer has paraglided with his 17m Speed - check out ~~http://www.flysurfer.com/Gallery/v/photos/special-acts/SPEEDGS/~~ Myself and another local paraglider pilot are going to give it go ridge soaring coastal dunes in a Westerly
