Once or twice I've lost my board and had it wash back to the shore. I have then body surfed in with my kite which was great. Kiting lying on a boogie board could be fun - no need to gybe, low down close to the water, can't imagine the jumps.

Anyone tried it or know anyone who has?

I've done it...
It's really hard to stay on because you get quite a bounce up. It feels realllllllllly fast though, butter flat water is really cool if you can get it.

Its also really fun kneeling on your kiteboard. Hold the front footstrap to keep your balance and you can ride upwind and do little jumps off waves and stuff. Its good to do when you've been out for a few hours and your getting bored.

when i was learning to kite with my trainer i used to take my boogie board down although i wasnt goin out deep (5mtr of shore) i was goin at a good speed its kinda like riding a skim board but its great fun and when you see a lip you can just hopefully turn round or your stuffed unless you have straps on your board which is just wrong
but giv it a go i haven't tryed it in a year or so yeh

Just recently got out with my 3m foil (Pansh - BLaze, piece of crap really) and a skim board, and damn do you get some speed up when you're on about 10mm of water.... crazy stuff... then getting into some deeper water you can do some turns of the little waves that roll in... kinda fun... friggin heavy on the arms!
