Long beach in Jervis Bay works well in a Westerly if your ok with flat water. Head towards Currarong ,turn off just before Currarong into the RAN bombing range,signs will take you there. If your after waves and the wind is WSW to SW Port Kembla Beach is worth a look if your heading down south. WSW is straight Xshore and when theres swell its awesome. It can be very hit and miss in WSW because the wind sometimes goes West crossoff and gets a bit dodgy. If its full on SW I would definately recommend it.
