Can you ask Bill where the hell my T-shirt is for subscribing to KBM

Seriously though, You and Robby were the ones that took windsurfing to the next stage years back. Now your involved with the kiting industry.
Out of the 2 which has given you the most satisfaction?. Do you do both disciplines now? If so what determines your decision on the day? What's better fun to ride on waves in your opinion, Windsurfer or kite.

Cheers

If there was only 2 kites left on planet earth and you had to go kitesurfing or else an alien spaceship would destroy the earth and all of mankind, which kite would you choose? a Naish Helix? or a Best Waroo? and what would be your first trick to defeat the aliens and thus save the earth and all of mankind and after you came in off the water would you drink a beer and go "HELL YEAH" or would you prefer a nice cup of tea and a cookie ?

just wondering as i sit here on the crapper

Hey Rooey,
Of course i'm supporting the Noosa cause, i've been away a bit lately so not fully up to speed... But, i have emailed the council from the magazine's point of view mentioning how much publicity we give the area and have encouraged a few international guys to do the same to mix it up a bit for the council. Last i heard from Mauricio he was working hard on convincing them to keep one of his favorite spots in the world open. I'll be there tomorrow for sure, lets hope it all works out!!

I vote for rich relatives post to get a section in the mag that was gold.

Question- kites like the sigma and delta series have taken a step away from conventional kite shape as the bow kite did when it first came out. Do you feel this is where the future of kite design is headed and will this new concept of designs have the same or an equivalent impact on the market or the technology that the bow designs did?

Did you design the Cabrinha logo and if so what inspired you to such a design?

How do you decide on kite and especially board graphics that you think will be popular among riders ?

Do you have a fitness program other than kiteboarding and if so what does it include?

Any advice for younger kiters wanting to go pro?

When you first started Cabrinha did you ever think that it was going to be as popular and well known as it is today?

THIS IS THE BIG QUESTION THAT I THINK YOU SHOULD INCLUDE !!!!!! no-one I have asked seems to have a logical and true explanation.

Hi Pete

A mate of mine in Malibu had a good chat with you about PLK kites a few years back when you visited Malibu and saw Jarman out riding on them .He said that you were intrigued by the stability of the kite and other aspects .Jarman has won the Oz waveriding for the last 2 years on them and does give credit to the kite as part of his success .Do you think that there is a marketing disadvantage by having only one licence holder and R & D teaam working on them .Would you be interested in making a Cabrinha version if a licence was made available?

Cheers

Where does the wind come from?

I have what I believe is a quick generation click answer however I know that there is much more to it, the general gist is the same.

1. Thermonuclear activity from the sun creates heat
2. Heat warms up the planet in different levels, morre at the centre less at the poles and variation day and night
3. air density changes and creates movement from the air trying to reach balanace
4. A circular exchange of energy results and air moves in reasonable regular patterns (weather patterns)
5. Smaller scale wind results from hot to cold and cold to hot similar balancing attempts, hot land cold water (seabreeze) and warmer water cold land (land breeze)

Bascially it is all about hot - cold - hot air trying to reach equilibrium, and that all results from the sun

And don't ask me where the sun came from?
God put it there,
then don't ask me where God came from and so on.
