It's a "brave new world" where somebody can anonymously upload a video of somebody else with the sole intent of publicly ridiculing them & having a go at them.

The YouTube uploader is the classic anonymous 1 post wonder.

Everybody has to learn kiteboard at some point .. is it a bit harsh making a video of somebody learning, naming them, calling them an asshole and then publishing it? Grown up bullying?

Maybe the guy has been a menace for years, I don't know. Just the motive of doing this video seems to say as much about the uploader as it does about the guy in video.

I think the guy caused a lot of sh|t. The original post I saw for it was here:

He's apparently been guilty of similar actions at other places as well so maybe people just got tired of him not listening. Sounds like he was slated on the French forums after his actions at local beaches there.

No sympathy from me these are exactly to type of kooks who get kiting banned on beaches . Cal him a ahole what you like no excuses for this attitude in a public place.

The days are gone when you just rock up to a public beach inexperienced and expect it all to go your way. It's just not acceptable behavier these days and totally irresponsible.

Laurie-nice sentiment and applies where applicable-however there is obviously a huge (well to some) back story here-and watching the vid-the guy fuggs up so many times-he looks like a bloody menace.

Topped off by the fact that one of the kites he trashed was a demo kite he refused to pay for after damaging.

That guy appears to have (from his body language and facial expressions) a very bad attitude, he seems like the guy that would blame everyone and everything. I'm sure we've all encountered/worked with individuals who simply will not admit their limits or accept any help or advice.

Also, if you can't self launch & land your kite then get more lessons. Especially a kite as easy as the cult.

If this dude was on your beach ..... and clearly he is a danger to the public, his kite is out of control and could highly likely hit someone, he is getting thrown around and could hit someone and the blody death leash on the board has turned it into a missile which could do some real damage to some else...... what action would/should you take as a local. He does seem to have a bad attitude so it not gonna be easy to get this guy to give it away when he is clearly not ready for the conditions on this beach. Laurie.. I am sorry but this guys behaviour is not good for the sport. You got to draw the line somewhere. I also just noticed that about half way through this he is in different broadies so either this has been filmed over a couple of days or he had some other reason to change his daks.....lol. Is a classic all the gear no idea post though.

The dudes a tosser! He needs to relax being highly stressed is not what kite surfing, surfing or anything to do with the beach is about. To me he just looks like a guy with alot cash and no patience. If I did that to my misses she would kick me in the balls. (What a fun time at the beach for the hole family) He wont stick it out he dosnt look like hes enjoying himself anyway. Maybe if he sees himself he might chill a bit you can only hope.

bring back 2 line inflatables for beginners. then kooks like him wouldnt survive.It looks way to easy nowadays.

That is the funniest video i have ever seen. You can see he needs some kite lessons, he does not have a clue what he is doing. The chick at the end i think she was trying to say to him you are doing it all wrong and need some lessons. And i think he was yelling back '' i know what i am doing '' '' i dont need a lesson'' and he blamed the gusty wind maybe What i would love to know is how do thease guys find such hot blonde chicks??? the little girl that walk over to him said ''your funny man'' ''my muma wants to talk to you'' ''muma said'' ''you dont know how to kite''

I'm choosing to empathise with the guy. We were all learning once.

He's obviously inexperienced and is getting frustrated.

I think he would have benefited from more kite flying experience before trying to take to the water. Maybe a few more lessons with an emphasis on safety, his and those around him.

None of this excuses his aggression and hostility to the people around him, especially those trying to help him.

He's lucky he didn't get badly hurt.

Look at around 2.10 when he gets boosted up the beach, the board is connected to what looks like his kite leash.

Reinforces to me that board leashes and kites do not mix.
