I've had great wind and waves down the Belongil Side of Byron, there are a few land buggy guys and other stuff going on down that way (In front of the abandoned whaling station) - Great on NE wind. (Which is their seabreeze.)I'm pretty sure the ban (common sense really)is on the front beach directly in front of Strops pub. Too many people here anyway.Although years back the perv was great. On the ugly days with heaps of wind and bugger all people on the beach I've kited there and the Clubbies havn't harrassed me. I just stayed out of the way of the swimmers and other beachgoers.
Flat rock on the SE - Amazing wave riding out the back - Although the inside can be a prick cause the wind gets sheltered Unless theres more East than South and you end up droping your kite in the surf. Lennox Beachies, Tallows beachies on a South to South East, Up to Broken head if the winds goes more E to North East . Take a big kite. Lots of days 15-20. AWESOME SPOTS EVERYWHERE!
