Hi Elyman

If you can't afford lessons and decent equipment that is safe you simply can't afford to get into the sport.

My best advice would be to stop looking for the cheapest gear you can find as this will end up costing more money in the long run.

Start saving up some money now so you can begin proper lessons later and afford decent equipment.

Think of the cost of medical bills if you get hurt trying to teach yourself and the cost of losing your equipment as well.

It's not worth it.

Do this the right way or don't do it at all

Why does it matter if it's ok?

By the sounds of it you've already bought it.

It looks like any other bar and lines but really you will need to know what it's used for. You would need to ensure it works well with your kite. Buying a bar is a funny place to start when buying gear.

I think Christian might have a point, work out what you're doing then start buying gear that works. Buying random cheap stuff will end up costing more money and definable more time.
