I never noticed all the flags around town

I never missed summer so much

I never realised how random the wind was in the winter

I never spent hours looking at wind charts on seabreeze

I never knew about the 15 knot rule

I had a life

i had a job

I had money in the bank before I gave it all to North,Dakine and Liquid Force...they'll all end up on the share market some day and I wont be able to buy any shares! .....3 kid's of mine all want to kite...egad.....a quiver of kite's for each one....think I'll pretend the sport suck's

I went to the most sheltered bay I could find

My girlfriend enjoyed coming to the beach with me

Travel destinations where chosen by the cultural attractions

Now, that has completely backflipped

i had a girlfriend, a job, a car, money and a family. I could never be happier.

i used 2 pay attention at school. and i used 2 have a bit more energy in the mornings.

before i kite surfed i use to hate the wind,
it always wreaked a good surf session or made it hard to fish.

I used to dredd the wind thru the trees ,that used to mean I missed an epic early morning surf !!

i had no rust in my car

.....I had no idea how far sand could get into the interior of a car when you never vacuum it....ever.
.....I used to wash my car. Now I just squint through the salt spray on all the windows and promise myself that I *will* wash the car this weekend.....maybe....if it's not windy....
.....I used to pay attention to where I was going, instead of looking at the trees all the time for the slightest hint of breeze.
.....if someone had told me how addictive a big ripstop nylon kite and a plank of laminated foam with fins on it could be, I would have suggested they increase their medication.
.....if someone had told me that I would happily part with over a thousand dollars for a big ripstop nylon kite and a curtain rod with a bunch of strings tied to it, I would have thought they were smoking crack.

i could travel inland more than 20km without getting agitated
