Been flying the 8m for the last 6 weeks or so, lots of Perth metro downwinders on a sb with some fun waves. Great kite, very stable not sure if it's as responsive as my 9m nemesis though but still very quick. Fast and easy relaunch and haven't been caught out yet with not being able to get the kite back up when down in the breakers....great idea having the depower below the bar, very easily accessible. Have had a couple of issues trying to depower when fully powered up as the depower line stopper kind of gets wedge in. I'm around 80kgs and have been out in 15 knots.

All in all a great kite no regrets will prob go for a 10m next season

To get on the team you must have 6 months kiting experience, be able to go upwind, preferably be able to ride toeside(not essential) have attended a BW camp and must have eternal allegiance to BWS.

Grunty and stable
Suit unhooked surf. Still trying the unhooking
Drifts down the line is it's best attribute
The ten is good for me at 78kg between 13 to 20knots on a surfboard
Would say I use the eight mostly for WA, 16 up to 25kn then prefer the 6 for 20-30kn days
