I started kitesurfing because I was sick of having crap blown out surfing conditions in the arvos. Kitesurfing got me out there more & I was able to actually enjoy these sessions without getting frustrated about having to paddle onto blown out waves.

Park & Ride for me - That just suits & makes more sense to me coming from a surfing background. Everyone is different. Just go with what you enjoy the most I say.

Well I fly and ride,
then I park it for a little bit,
then fly it again,
ride....ride,
downstroke, upstroke,
park it for a bit,
fly, ride, fly...
and wipe-out.
lol.

Oh Waveslave trust you to only see the Black and White.
Of coarse there are many shades of grey in between and if you ride real world conditions you ride a bit of both. At my home spot I get to ride from mostly cross on to onshore. Cross shore maybe 30 - 40 times a year. I get to ride cross offshore waves a handful of times a year.

Ben is fortunate and skilful enough to make a living chasing the perfect conditions for his Style. JB could most probably do the same, but has chosen a different path. Drew Beavis seems to be pushing the kite flyer style internationally and Props to him.

Having seen you ride many times waveslave and knowing the sizes you fly I would say you defiantly say you lean towards being a Kite flyer style wave rider. When you drop onto a wave at your home spot, you turn the kite hard before you Bottom turn the board.

I forgot to mention one of the most inspiring Wave riding styles and that's Rich Stenning on his skimboard in 2 to 4 foot shorebreak. I Dream of having one tenth of his board and kite skills.
