Slingshot pro rider and surf legend Ben Wilson is back living on the Sunny Coast for a month or so ahead of his next filming and kite-surf chasing expedition.
He was at the Coolum Kite Festival on Saturday and will be there today. No wind so far but he has been answering questions regarding the new 2007 Slingshot range and explaining why the Link his choice for his surf program.
Anyone in the area is welcome to come down and be part of this huge event…..they anticipate 45,000 people to visit the event over the weekend. Looked like they were all there yesterday!!!
Congrats to Rob, Josh and their crew for a huge effort to pull it all together and include kiteboarding into the event.
The down-winder should run today.

Ran into Ben he is a really nice bloke... I heard rumours that he wont be competing today, does anyone know if this is true? I know I dont have a chance if he is riding, however it would be awesome to say I have riden with Ben Wilson. Maybe I can analyse spare change and spot some of his techniques to use in the race [}:)]

The sunny coast wind prediction just hit the green and the current graph just went into the yellow!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like it will be on boys and girls.
