Hi all,

I am heading over to WA with my brother for a month and am thinking of buying a cheap second hand van ($1000 or less) to last for the month and then hopefully sell at the end of the trip.

I am wondering if someone has done the same thing, or any locals over there can tell me where is the best place to look.

I have looked on internet sites like the trading post but to no avail.

Any suggestions would be great.

Cheers Burger.

Hey Burger - I have a 1977 toyota hiace van which is about to run out of rego - you can have it for $200.

Needs a battery, but will push start - you can test drive.

Engine runs well and is reliable. Body is full of rust but has been painted over so as not to attract coppers' eyes. [}:)]

Overall fair condition. Plenty of room for gear and sleeping in the back.

At this price you won't have to worry about selling it when you leave...

Call Brendan on 0417 942 703.
