Spending Oct1-3 near Jervis bay (closer to 7mile beach).
What is the best spot for the NE - SE winds.
The River mouth at shoalhaven looks fun, is it possible?
If the wind turns West is there a good option?

G'DAy Not on Board,
The Shoalhaven Heads are a great place to kite pretty much just down from the surf club. Wind is clean and cross on in NE and you get some mighty ramps to boing off when the winds get up.
Have a good sesh.

Had some good sessions in the river near the caravan park/dunes a couple of years ago before I moved to the central coast. Wind tends to be gusty, but the water is glassy (and shallow !!! in places and could very well have changed since I was there last)
Check out Gerroa in a NE (bit gusty but far better than HoleShaven if there are waves).
Also been to Culburra Lake (south side of the heads) which was pretty good for learning.
Also Mooney ck in Jbay.
That should keep you busy.
Pete.

Thanks for the info,
It is good to have all those options. I will have a look on Google Earth and do my homework. Hope the wind is up.
