Just got a load of new Mako's with the new Air footpads - you're welcome to demo one. It's a polarising board, peeps that absolutely love them and others that don't.

heard good things about the mako, good carving etc. but never tried one. If I have to use a TT then a custom/CBL or tronic are good, but if cross shore any TT will do.

Hi Scotty100,

It kind of depends on your riding style but off the top of my head with the conditions you describe, I'd recommend the North X-Ride for carving, chop and speed. Also recomment the Shinn Monk if it's crazy choppy, they are amazing in rough conditions and giving you ultimate board control in strong wind ie jumping big air. If you are into a bit more freestyle, try the Ronson, still nice in chop but has decent freestyle performance.

Going upmarket, Look at the Core Fusion and North Select. Both are really nice in ****ty conditions. Best bet is to drop into your local kite shop and grab a demo board and try it for yourself.
