dont laugh, a mate of mine actually did that, but drilled proper straps in, over the thong base. worked pretty well if you didn't mind having your feet in only one spot on the pad

Love it love it love it. It`s given me an idea to use my work boots on my wake board. The steel toe caps should give me extra protection from sharks.
