Hey anyone had any experience with stainless busting? The ring that connects my chicken loop to the safety release snapped yesterday. It was about 18 knots I luffed my kite after a jump and it powered up in the zone pretty hard and the stainless ring busted. Ended up with a big birds-nest and the chicken-loop still on my harness about 500m out. Not much fun! Its an 06 Wipika matrix. Bit surprised that this could happen!
Yep was thinking along the same lines.. Might try the boat shop and use it as a backup. I bought a whole new Naish set up and just rigged up my bar. Winds been good here. 15knot+ seabreese most days last week! Todays calm though
