Have just had an "issue" trying to make a purchase from a private seller on another site. Luckily the buyer protection program they have was enough of a threat for my money to be returned.

Wondering what everyone who buys something from the Buy & Sell on Seebreeze does to ensure they don't get diddled out of their cash. The obvious is pick the item up and then pay.

I have made a couple of successful transactions via Seabreeze, so there are plenty of straight up people using the service. How do you stay safe from the rare few scammers? Cheers - Nuker

You could look at an ESCROW type service if the cost is high, or 50% deposit and 50% final fee if small...

It is a bit of an akward feeling if you clicked "TRANSFER" and the the "WAIT"

C.O.D Cash on Delivery through Australia Post.
The gear arrives at your post office, you see it, you pay for it, you get it. If you send gear and no-one pays for it, it's sent back to you.

Easy and Nice.

Guinness sure is nice today...
