Doews anyone know anyhting about the Coconet Classic in Bowen. At Tannum they announced it was in September, but when? Or does anyone know who I can contact to get more information?

I'm not sure whether i'd be good enough for comp yet...can anyone tell me what level you need to be at to go in comp and not look lame?

Ange is right,events like the classic are a great place to meet people and have a good social weekend.Remember its all about having fun.You dont have to be the greatest rider on earth to win prizes either,there are rewards for just having a go.Just a note i think tim mentioned something about a teams trophy in bowen as well,i will have to confirm it but for those of you that went to tannum this year will know what i mean.

as far as i know. Theres 5 coming with me and i think theres another group of locals flying up on the wednesday, maybe 5 or more in their group.

OK i have just been informed that there will be a teams trophy at bowen.Great opportunity to grab bragging rights guys and girls.The way it works people is this,if there is a group of people from mackay and there are a number of them that make it through to the final then each of them earn points for the mackay area.If those same people are sponsored then points are also awarded to the manufacturer.Team with the most points at the end of the day wins.points are awarded in all catagories.The concept worked well in Tannum, but there where some rumblings about people not being told early enough.So no complaining about not being told.Just to let you know for those of you that were not at Tannum, Team 4680 (Tannum)won the trophy in Tannum and Singshot was the highest placed manufacturer.The more people from your area/Team the more chances of scoring points
