I was fortunate enough to see the new Cabrinha Custom 28 in action at the cable park two weeks ago, and as described, it is exceptional for the wake style of riding. He could edge really well, get really good pop of pretty calm water (apart from those on the cable in front of him), and land very smoothly on all the tricks he did. However, as Cabrinha claim on their site

these boards were developed for the new school of wake tricks where pop is absolutely necessary, the wider outline and raised tips make it the ultimate freeride board as well. The combination of rocker and a lively flex pattern make the Custom fit well into choppy water without the usual face shots from a too flat rocker line.
It doesn't mention surf, but those who go for a more surf than wake style would do doubt know. I have no doubt with any of the things Cabrinha claim this board can do, because after seeing it in action and what it is cable of, and only having Cabrinha equipment.
Also another factor which might influence your choice, the Cabrinha Custom being $880 AUD, and the Underground FLX 05 being $ 949 and not being the new model. I haven't heard anything about a new Underground board though, but I cannot wait to see more new ranges of kites and boards available in general.
All the best with your search for information mate.
