I want to use the swivel chicken loop.
No more twist - but the installation Video looks a little bit complicated and confusing.

Are there any other options?

No its not that hard, i think it only took about 15 or so minutes, with a beer in hand. I would suggest that you do it in your shed or lounge rather than down the beach.
They are not designed for the 2009 model, only the 2010 model. All to do with line lengths from what i can remember.
I have the kit on my 12m switchy, it increases the turning speed by a small amount. i havn't bothered on my 9m and 7m as they are turn quick enough.
I hope this helps, pm me if you want anymore info.

You can buy Cabrinha chickenloops with a swivel (as used on the Switchblade), but then you have a problem leashing to the IDS ring, as it will twist when you twist the Q/R, so it's not practical to leash to the IDS.
You could leash suicide above the Q/R, but to activate the IDS, you would have to pull down the centre lines until you reached the upper swivel, or if you are unhooking, leash to the chickenloop, and then you would have to grab the IDS ring before operating the Q/R to activate the IDS.

I have the 09 IDS and am happy with it the way it is.
I have read that the 2010 swivel is better than the 2009 one - maybe Kitepower can give an opinion on that?

@ terminal

May you post some photos on how you setup your lines.
If the IDS Pro Kit is not suitable for the '09 IDS then i might go that way.
I thought the line setup is identical and you can use the '10 Bar on the '09 as well
But I might we wrong here!

Let's see if Kitepower is coming up with a solution :-)

As I said, I'm happy with the standard 09 IDS, so mine is exactly as it was supplied, and I dont use any other leash system.

I have activated the IDS by just pulling the front lines down.
The advantage with that is that you can just feed it back out again without having to reassemble anything and start riding again.

The only mod I would consider doing at the moment would be to replace the swivel with the 2010 one if that was definately better, but I have big Xbows and dont loop.
