Yep The Cabrinha dedicated wave kite...

Comes with 2:1 pulley or adjustable 1:1: A switchblade/crossbow bar..
Kite is supposed to be a turning weapon with the profile in the trailing edge showing almost no concave (one of the stipulations of a bow kite patent).
Seems like most kite manufacturers are toying around with specific kites for different diciplines for next year.

i've used the 9 on maui, pre production proto.
very firm connection between my hand and the back pigtails.

pull and follow, reckon they are on the right track for waveriding.

Sorry mate, no pics... If your really interested try your local Cabrinha dealer, they probably have the catalogue. The main difference in the profiles are that the Contra has the most swept back trailing edge (most concave), X-Bow3, switchblade, Omega, then the revolver almost has no sweep (concave) in the trailing edge.

The other main difference is the switchblade was to come standard with a swivelling chicken loop and the X-Bow didnt. Something that might be rectified before release.
The X-Bow in my opinion needs the swivel more as the swivel near the trim strap was crap and twisted up the lines that went to the pulleys on the bar (the back lines of the kite). Since Switchblade has a 1:1 bar a few twists didnt matter as much.
I wonder if you have to buy an aftermarket chicken-loop straight after you've bought your new kite?

No! just learn to throw tricks both ways

Had more problems packing the kite into the bag than twisted front lines
