Have never been to Augusta kiting but have been following the readings and seems to be ripping most days.

It looks like a great spot but how many people kite there on a daily basis this time of the year?

Last time I went that far south a guy snapped his leg clean in half and I got 8 stitches in my shin. If you're worried about kiting alone you definitely shouldn't be frequenting the south coast of Australia. I can still hear his screaming when the wind blows sometimes.

Haha! Thats almost poetry....except that you can hurt yourself anywhere. I'm a beginner and I kite in Augusta (river not ocean), so cant be too bad- same as everywhere, you just have to be safe and choose your time and place.
