Hey guys I got 20 meter lines with my 2009 Naish Cult when I brought it and one of my mates suggested that I try and extend the lines to 24 meters as I am a beginner and it should give me a bigger window...I was just wanting so feedback if anyone else has done this and will it help me out?? If so do I just buy peg tails to extend the lines with??

You should be able to get line extensions from Naish to suit your kite (ie. kook-proof connectors)... or most kite shops should be able to hook you up with the right line extensions. Failing that you could always go to a sailing shop and get them to make them up for you, but i'd imagine it'd work out cheaper to just but them from a kite shop.
It'll make the kite appear slower through the window, giving it a bit more time to build up speed on your power strokes and produce more power. I've never really understood why some people recommend beginners use shorter lines. It just means they've got a kite that'll shoot to the edge of the window and lose it's power faster. Slow and predictable power i always thought was far better for learning.

Ah, you Queenslanders crack me up with your provincial (or is idiomatic the p.c. term?) spelling and grammar. Reminds me of transcripts of psychoanalytic stream-of-consciousness monologues.
Oh, and line extensions may make things a bit smoother but 20m is not that short. In some places, people learn to kite in 30 knots because that's how windy it is all the time. The smaller kites they use turn and shoot through the window more quickly than your cult ever will in gentle Queensland seabreezes, long lines or short. Getting used to your setup is the important thing.

20s arent that short but for a beginner it makes a huge difference... 24 /25 m lines will be far more beneficial as you get a larger stroke through window to generate power and will make getting on the board a ton easier. you will also get a significant increase in bottom end.
old man has a 09 7.5m cult or wat ever they come in but ti was on 20s and we were trying to teach my lil sister and she was struggling due to the small window size, after putting 5m extensions on she got along alot better.
just go to a kite shop and see if you can buy a set of 5m extensions

Hey SAV - I like your name.....
Send me a PM and I will post you some free QPower pro 4m extensions to do the job for you. You can then have any length you want 2/3/4 after some trial and error with what you like on your kite.
