I've got a sure-fire spreader bar from Slingshot i think that their pretty good but im just a learner and what would i know. I haven't seen too many people on the beach using them so i was wondering weather i got sold a lemon or have people just not discovered them yet? I can see a few advantages of them like being able to bail out when ever you need to and you are able to untwist your safety line easy. Are there any disadvantages that i don't know about? Please help a confused child. Cheers Nug.
Ive been using the Surefire for awhile now and have had no problems with it to date, but when I did need it, it worked great. easier than trying to grab a small release tab when your in trouble.
Keep an eye the hook there have been a few threads about the hook parting company with the bar
