We have decided to postpone the event due to the forecast .

We don't want to hold a comp in marginal conditions for the sake of a result and frustrate everybody .

At this point we are trying to reschedule for 10-11 Feb.

We will keep you informed as and when we sort things out .

comp is not on til further notice due to poor conditions.

So if the comp does not run till 10-11 Feb, and cust of date for nationals is 29 Jan. How does this work with WA and Nationals pre-qualifying etc.

Anybody interested in going to the Nationals is almost certainly able to go .

In past years we haven't come close to filling our full quota of riders .

If you can get over there please contact WAKSA to get confirmation of a spot .

Serious about a wave comp? Want serious sponsorship that adds value to the sponsors business. Then why is the event not held at a suitable location ie Secret Habour, Lancelin-South Passage, Green Head? Winter would also be more sutiable with the north westerly fronts and swells.

Scarborough beach is pathetic – more ripples than waves.

Scarborough beach is not suitable, too many people in the way during summer - I noted at the Big Air comp. the number of swimmers in the competition area – it’s not at all very safe – AKSA preach safety and awareness??
