Without having seen the board, it totally depends where the crack is and why it is cracked. If the core is cracked or it is in a high stress area, youre pretty much toast.

They are made so thin and are bonded under vacuum and heat that if they crack anywhere stress related they are never really right again, unless you don't mind a big ugly repair. If it is only shallow ie gel coat depth, then maybe just put a little epoxy resin over it to keep the water from getting in.

John.looking at the picture i would say you could succesfully repair it as long as the crack doesn`t develop much further along that release edge.i would sand along the rail where the crack is about 3mm(thickness of 3 sheets of 6oz glass) deep and about 50mm long.lay small peices of glass over the crack and apply resin.use epoxy resin.Give us a call if you need a small bit of resin and glass.i can give you some if you are in perth.
