somewhere on the net is a board manufacturer who lets you choose the artwork on your board. i think it's an eastern states manufacturer - does anyone know the name of the company?

You are after Cardboards. Dan is based in Hervey Bay. Check www.cardboarding.com Not only can you customise graphics but you can customise stance, flex, fins and almost heaps more. The boards are also available in retail outlets around Australia.

Yeah Cardboards is def the way to go if you want something custom. Check out the website but give Dan a call too cause he's always been really helpful with questions about the little details

Looks like they just added some new artwork on the website too, mmm!

Also Underground will do custom graphics for you as well.

yeah carboards if u call abs and pbt custom.

Just something about popouts, doesnt make them seem all that custom.

if u go to dan i think u can send ur own picture in and he puts it on ur board

A "popout" is a mass produced board.

They "pop" them out ,one after another.

Surprised that anyone would not know that term.

I figured that's probably what was being alluded to, but I'm surprised to hear that being mentioned in a negative light. I mean, how else does one make money from an enterprise such as kiteboard manufacture?? If you're going to limit yourself to producing 1 board a month because of some misguided theory that that's what makes you a 'truly' custom board maker, you're gonna be the guy standing on a corner with a sign that says 'Will drop pants for food'.
