The elastic in those little bungee things that hold the safety release in place has started to stretch out a little. No big deal, jump on the net to look for a new set and I've got two option;

A) $35 from manufacturer
B) $2.50 from spotlight

Am I just a tightarse or is the mark up on similar replacement parts excessive.

Surely there must be a heap of people depower straps, off switches etc?

If you have the skill to adapt it to make it to work then sure do it.

Don't stuff it up tho. safeties are not to be taken lightly.

I retrofitted an ozone lei bar and lines onto my flysurfer speed 3. but I wanted a landing strop. so adapted the lei leaders to accept a foil landing strop and hey presto a better set up than factory. works a treat.
