Hey
My parents recently bought a sony DVD handy cam. Scince then i have been tryin to find a progam so u can put the footage on the computer to edit for some sweet films . The problem is that windows movie maker doesnt support importing DVD's. So does any one else have a DVD camcorder and what program do you use to edit ur footage.
Thanks heaps

Jarry,
I have a tape digi camera. Come 'round and see if your DVD cam works on my computer if you want.

....instead of trying to rip from the dvd, plug your dvd camera into the computers firewire port and press play to capture it, even windows movie maker should work that way

Hey mate,

Try Pinnacle Studio, not the cheapest program in the world, but should be able to do it... if that still don't work then yeah try just using your Firewire port.

Later.

If you have broadband:
Step 1: go to azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php get azureus
step 2: hit www.mininova.org/ or www.torrentportal.com search for appropriate program - the more seeders the better the link will work
step 3: install new software and edit DVD footage

/cheapest way to do it
