Philip Island Kiteboarding

Damien McKay was tragically taken from us on the 29th of November 2005, whilst kiteboarding Cape Woolamai, Phillip Island. Victoria.

This event is more than a memorial to Damien. It's about highlighting the skill and athleticism of kiteboarders, it's about creating a fun environment for participants and spectators and a chance to show every one that this extreme sport can be safe if the right equipment and good practices are employed.

Share the spirit and take time to remember one of our own, who passed away doing something he loved.

Be at the event on the 18th - 19th November, 2006

Inout, Google earth tells me not! If you were completely crazy you could launch from Lorne on a SW its about 115k direct line, only problem is you will be about 30ks offshore in no time. (Rumour has it your not the best swimmer) I am happy to launch you if I can take possession of your remaining kites I think I will drive
