Sick of dangling underneath the kite when i boost? Also makes landing a lot harder. How can i prevent this? - Maybe chuck in a grab or something?!

seeing your kite is above you when you boost because that is how you do a boost i cant see how you could prevent yourself from "dangling underneath the kite" may i suggest tho that you just keep your kite low and pop?......

sir rowdy is on it. Practice keeping your kite at 45 deg and using the pop for air maybe 2- 7 ft . Once you have that down concetrate on doing the same but getting the timing right when you send your kite.

step by step ( works for me ) using a SB2

1) Get fully powered up
2) Begin the progressive edge whilst sending your kite in the opposite direction.
3) Cut hard at the last minute ( get the pop ) and sheet in.
4) Leave your kite in the opposite direction until near the apex of the jump.
5) Bring the kite back towards your original direction of travel.

The difference between 10ft of air and 30+ in in the timing.

( adding a grab does help to stop the dangle ) also when you send your kite in the opposite direction it should be approx 50 - 75 deg not directly above you.

This method should work and give you long high floaty jumps with lotsa hangtime yyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa

You generally don't always get a dangle when you jump, it can be from several factors.
1. your swinging the kite to far back for the jump causing a big pendulum effect.
2. you may be bringing the kite forward to late. your momentum needs to all travel forward. if your kite is going to far back and you start swinging backwards before you bring kite forward you will get pulled in different directions.
cure when you boost the kite needs to lift you not pull you backwards, check the angel your kite lifts you it is better if it is driving up and still pulling you slighty forward, as you won't get the pendulum.
However if you do go super big it is hard not to pendulum.. if your having trouble getting straighten out for landings just remember you need to bring the kite forward just as hard as if you were getting up and riding from sitting down. when the kite pulls you forward let your arms out a little, then as your landing pull them into your lead hip. easy doen..
